This fall my husband and I put in my dream vegetable garden!
We started with two raised flower beds that I found on clearance at Target, but you could also use these from Amazon. They definitely took longer to build than expected, but were so worth it.
We then ordered a cubic yard of raised bed soil from our local landscaping company. We filled the entire bed with the soil, but you can also fill the bottom half with yard clippings or any organic material that will break down over time.
After what seemed like an eternity, it was finally time to purchase and install the trellis. We purchased a large cattle panel from Tractor Supply. Make sure you have a plan for how to get this home. I watched a video where someone folded the panel in half and then used ratchet straps to secure it. It worked really well, but we’re happy we only live 10 minutes from the store.
